GOLDEN LAUREL OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

On 15th January 2004 KOPEX SA Joint Stock Company received a prize “Golden Laurel of Skills and Competences” in the category: EXPORTER.
The idea of “Laurels of Skills and Competences” venture arranged by Regional Chamber of Commerce of Katowice is to award outstanding people and companies a prize and to promote them. The activity of awarded Companies should be successful and effect an improvement of economic conditions in the region. KOPEX received the prize for:
· perfect and model realization of industrial projects on domestic and international markets, including deliveries of machinery and equipment, technologies and know–how for mining and other industries;
· implementation of modern Polish technologies in the range of application of equipment and conducting experimental works in mining industry;
· good cooperation with business partners, upholding high standards of services rendered according to the needs and expectations of contracting parties;
· creative cooperation with economic self – government;
· charitable activity, supporting the social welfare policy.
